Western blot analysis was performed on whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of A549 (Lane 1), DU-145 (Lane 2), PC-3 (Lane 3), LNCaP (Lane 4) and Caco-2 (Lane 5). The blot was probed with Anti-CYP27A1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-27946, 1:1,000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4,000 dilution). A 72 kDa band corresponding to CYP27A1 was detected across the cell lines tested and the protein expression was found to be low in LNCaP when compared to PC-3.
